The two cents opinion: Oscar de la Renta, Spring 2010

Fleeting impression . . . apart from photos 46 and 48, I wasn't overly impressed, which puts me squarely in the minority. I think I'll stick with his vintage pieces . . .

. . . like the blouse here. Fun, fantastic quality, and why not keep the old going in time with the fashion world's applause for the new?

  1. I agree with you - I wasn't terribly impressed but I wonder if designers are playing it safe due to the economy? Now is not the time to play it safe! Give us something spectacular that will make us loosen our purse strings.

  2. Is it just me, or is black a little harsh with this beautiful blouse? I'm thinking charcoal gray or taupe might complement its softness better.

  3. I concur with you (and Sandra), it just didn't seem like there was much to get excited about from ODLR this season. In general I adore this lines' clothes because they stick often stick to more feminine cuts, which appeal to me a lot, but I just couldn't fall in love with the looks this season. (Lol, from an eye candy perspective, I mean - even if I loved every piece like my own mother, I could never in a billion years afford to buy them ;D).

Wishing you a gorgeous day, sweet dear!
