Fascinating article in The New York Times today, about spinning cloth from spider's silk. Gorgeous result, but mighty unpleasant reading for arachnophobes . . .
I am the author of "Secondhand Chic" and "It's Vintage, Darling", all about how to find, style and care for wonderful secondhand clothes. I'm also blogging as the Vintage Detective at Oxfam UK's new vintage fashion website. Whether it's out of a local thrift shop or a style icon's walk-in wardrobe, I love the idea of fashion with a past.
