1) It was worn below the waist
2) In modern-day terms, its name is code for those who love women . . .
(many thanks to Nicole for sharing these photos . . . if you can't wait to find out what it is, link here.)
Whatever it is, it is creepy.
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming that it was worn as a catch on a sautoir.
It's a skirt-lifter, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteApologies for being some years late but, bearing in mind the hand form of the clamp, is it not more likely to be a glove holder that is missing the hook for attachment to one's handbag rather like the pair of such owned by my wife?

ReplyDeleteFashion Preserve looks amazing! I love how it highlights style while focusing on quality and timeless pieces. It’s inspiring to see fashion curated with care. On a different note, I also enjoy using the tiger betting app, which is a gaming platform for cricket fans. Just like fashion needs attention to detail, the app helps me track matches, follow stats, and make informed betting choices. Both show that paying attention and staying engaged makes the experience much more enjoyable
